Natural Flow

A clay coil pot with earthy, modern charm. Two curved handles at the top accentuate its irregular form. Two different glazes were used - a gray blue glaze over the top half, then dipped into a blue green glaze. The dynamic glaze with dripping effects blends deep hues of gray, green, blue and yellow, giving the sculpture a sense of fluidity almost as if it's melting. The natural imperfections enhance the character.
